I believe this is a slippery slope they are letting build.
The right “pick up flags” in the right game/s could make bank for somebody/s….
The more time goes by, the more “money” calls the shots from conference affiliation, to paying players to……….outcomes???
Winning isn’t nearly as important as the point spread.

To me there is way too much interpretation in the rules and enforcement of the rules. You could ask 100 officials on how they interpret pass interference I think you would get a wide variance in answers. I think they picked it up because another ref said it wasn’t catchable by Bell. That is BS because the PI prevented Bell from coming back. It is just head scratching.
Yes-when you have people invested in games officials picking up legit calls and overturning calls without clear evidence how do you not think officials aren’t on an agenda.
