Brenen Thompson [WR transfer from OU, for you casuals] has rocketed up my “Ya boy” rankings. Kid is really impressive and interesting to hear talk. He sounds like a great kid.
He’s very articulate and seems incredibly mature for that age. Just got married, has responsibilities etc. He’s also very fast. I look forward to him to be a go to guy this year.Brenen Thompson [WR transfer from OU, for you casuals] has rocketed up my “Ya boy” rankings. Kid is really impressive and interesting to hear talk. No doubt, just heard it this morning and thought that was one of the best interviews I've ever heard one of our players give. Super impressed with his maturity and his comments on leadership. Now I hope we can find ways to get him the ball so he can break Bump's TD record.Brenen Thompson [WR transfer from OU, for you casuals] has rocketed up my “Ya boy” rankings. Not a negative take, just observational, but a transfer going to media days is telling about the current state of CFB. It used to be reserved for standout upper classmen who were pretty much the "face" of the program. I don't pay a lot of attention to SEC media days, but I can't recall a time that I didn't know the name of a player representative who was there (i.e. saw the name and didn't immediately know who he was/position/etc.). Without your context, I wouldn't have any idea who that was.Brenen Thompson [WR transfer from OU, for you casuals] has rocketed up my “Ya boy” rankings. Not sure if we have anyone that matches that description right now, but, yes, it has traditionally been like that. Not a negative take, just observational, but a transfer going to media days is telling about the current state of CFB.
