After looking at the SEC tourney "tree", Bullies might have a chance of making

Sunday. RS needs to mix up some things defensively, like half court traps, man to man, maybe some 1-3-1 zone, etc maybe we could pull it off, of course the treys need to be falling. I give RS the business, but deep down this is my favorite time of the year and I want to see us do good. That being said let the flaming begin.

a few years back that was a MONSTER. Our perimeter D is terrible. I just wish he could put something together like that. Maybe I'm wrong, but I really feel like Kodi is the key to some kind of run..if not this year then next. If Jarvis had ANY help (Augustus) and we could run 5 guards in and out and spell the big guys with Osby and Johnson, we could run people to death and have some serious depth.

In looking at Kodi's athletic ability and size, it seems that with the right mindset he could be very very effective defensively. Now, I haven't broken down his lateral movement for a 1-3-1 Vincent role, but his body and athleticism looks to fit the part of a good defender.

So, is there any question that he has the ABILITY to defend? Or is it just a matter of having a WILL to defend?

Iggy was pretty damn good at the top of the 1-3-1 before any of use even knew who Branden Vincent was. If you'll remember, that personnel brought us all the way back from being down about 20 to Texas in 2002.
