The writing is clearly on the wall. Fire Crxxm.
Tonights strong points for firing.
1) Crxxm announced he is the Offensive Coordinator. (What does that make McCxrvey?)
2) McCxrvey's questionnaire was impossible to understand. Every response he had left me more baffled than Crxxm.
3) We are 1-3. (Lost to La. Tech and destroyed by G. Tech)
4) Losing recruits.(Pat Patterson and the ones that were on the verge of committing are probably long gone)
5) Crxxm showed no feelings towards being a good coach tonight. He talked like he was ready to can our season.
6)This amazing stat taken from www.mstateathletics.com
4TH-DOWN Conversions.......... MSU - 3/9 The Opponent - 3/3
4th-Down Pct................ MSU - 33% The Opponent - 100%

7) I'm a dumber person for reading what they said.

3rd/4th & short play. I haven't really looked at the plays/sets that much, but are we really running different plays? Looks about the same to me (only diff I see is whether Dixon tries to bust it outside with his blazing speed). I knew Dixon was getting the ball on all our short yardage plays & so did Tech (amazingly we made a few of them, just not the most important ones). Is the QB sneak not in our playbook?

The hotseat ranking page lists it at 1.2M? I don't think that is cost prohibitive.

Also, why dont we hire the plane to fly over the stadium or take out a full page Ad in the CL?

I'm surprised that, given 48 hours, McCorvey could not come up with some cogent commentary to give Kyle and the gang today. Very disappointing.

told his employers and all the fans- "17 you, I'm not changing anything and I dont give a **** if you like it or not"

The man would rather lose than change, and that is sad. Its Ron Polk all over again.

with this behavior, he's asking to be fired. That may be exactly what he wants. He is in over his head, and even he knows it now. The buyout and getting off the hot seat may be just what he wants at this point.

the 1.2mil was based on the precious contract of 9xx k per year and only having 2 years left on the contract
Now we are in year one of a 4 year contract, that is paying 1.7 per year...

No figures of the new buyout have been released, but greg has confirmed that there is one.

I just think he's stubborn as a 17'n mule (maybe dumb as a rock is a better analogy) & loyal to a fault.

He has always cared more about trying to win his way than with just winning.

Case in point: The 2004 Florida game. We put Connor in the shotgun and let him do his thing instead of trying to fit the square peg in the round hole. Guess what? We pulled off an improbable upset. And then, inexplicably, we go back to the West Crap offense.

The only other game I can think of where we did that w/Connor was in the 4th quarter against Tulane in 2006 when we were getting beaten like Rodney King by a hurricane-ravaged program that had been strongly considered for the chopping block. We came from way back and nearly won. Granted, it was against their backups, but still.......

you can only poke your finger in the eye of the people who pay you so many times.

I really believe he's done, but he'll resign so he can blame everybody else.

We'll be getting a huge SEC Welfare Check, so coming up with $1.2 million should be pretty easy. Not only that, but we'll be able to come up with the $2.0-2.5 million/year needed to hire some young, intelligent, hungry coach who wants the challenge of coaching in the best, most televised Conference in America, where his recruits will be on TV EVERY WEEKEND.
