Theres a quartet of guys from Louisville on Americas Got Talent..... and IMO they are the run away favorite. Remind me of the Temptations how it just seemed like they were made to sing together... pretty dang good IMO --- Hope they win...be the 2nd AGT winner from KY.... would join Kevin Skinner the Chicken Catcher lol

They are not the runaway favorite. The kid who's gay AND is the best singer is the runaway favorite.



They are pretty good though.

Speaking of race issues, how about George Lopez giving the golden buzzer to Hispanic acrobats/drummers. I love that type of act, but it wasn't a good showing. Off timing, simplistic drumming. They did a lot of things, but none of them that well. Of course, Lopez finds them to be the best.. shocking..

Those are actual singing shows, in their prime no less. The guy I posted might not have even made it into the AI contest back then.. But AGT is a different story.. The singing just isn't on the same level. Even if he has to compete with other acts... the only legitimate threats are comedy, dancing and maybe magic.

Singers haven't faired well lately though.

Also, I think the Italian Kid with big personality and pipes has a good shot.

Blame the networks.. they love story lines. In the history of these contests, has there ever been a dude that's like "Yeah, I"m perfectly normal and I like to sing.. and that's about it"..

Nope. Dead family, Aids, *****, Ginger.. it's always something..

I actually definitely know he isn't gay. My sister in law goes to the same church he attends and is great friends with his wife actually.

The only way you'd definitely know is if he spurned one of your sexual advances. However, even then you still wouldn't really know, because a rejection could mean he just might not be into you -- which, of course, is understandable.

Tom Mabe, a comedian who makes YouTube video pranks, is actually linkin' Bridges manager now. He used them to pull pranks on people. He would have these scary looking guys approach unsuspecting people in places like parking garages and have them break out in song. He also had them going around Christmas caroling at people's houses. Basically doing it to show how people react when being approached by a group of guys like them. I'm not sure how to link some of those videos from my iPad, but they are on YouTube

Watching tonight's episode right now..

Sadly this show has fallen hard. The acts this year are just meh. Howard >> Simon. I wonder if this show has tapped the well dry after 10 years.

I enjoyed the couple danger act tonight. Throwing morning star axes while blindfolded at your wife is always a treat.

The female chick comedian decided to alienate half the nation.. Not only for the 2nd time but to an even greater extent.

The magic is the same. The singing has been pretty weak aside from Crum. And then just saw an old lady dance with titty tassles.. That got a standing O..

Just feel like the well is dry and even the judges know it.

I would have to disagree to an extent. I think the singers have been the best in years on the show. Especially the two 14 year old girls. And of course the gay dude. I'm not a huge fan of the danger act and think Hara's act blew theirs away, but of course he got the boot. The magic has been less flashy, with mostly up close tricks using the judges, but those tricks have been way better than previous years. I'm just chalking the old lady bit up to the fact they always put through a couple of head scratchers just for giggles.

The dancing this year sucks though. Bad.
