Nice job by Chance to beat out a double play. The 2B was right in between taking it himself and pitching to the SS.

Chance retired at 2nd would have been a big play. I don’t hate the move. Looked like it was spiked at the catcher’s feet. He just managed to glove it and come up throwing.

So far, what I saw at scrimmages this January are what I was expecting. Much better defense and solid pitching. I was surprised that they hit Siary, yesterday, but Khal Stephens is the real deal.

0n a side note, I had the best time listening to members of the jump squad talk about the coolest experience of their life…. visiting the Left Field lounge. Free beer, back slaps for serving their country, and all the barbecue they could eat. Great job, Bulldog fans.

Going to hold off judgement a few more games. Throwing it right down the middle I’m not sure will work against better hitting teams…. But maybe when we face better hitting teams we will pitch differently?

Stephen’s looks better than dohm. Which I guess is good?

Nice.

Double and then three pitches and two batters later, without a hit, we push in the go ahead score.

That's how good teams do it.

17ing walks. 17’n don’t pitch Holcomb anytime soon. 17 walks

To possibly lose because you can’t throw strikes with the 17’n lead when the whole staff is available is inexcusable.

This isn’t 17’n high school.

Sucks that Auger couldn’t get 5 goddamned strikes across the plate before dude finally poked the groundball through.

That game should have been over.

Holcombe had no control and was lucky to get out the 8th. Was a big risk leaving him in.

Watching them pitch in the 9th, it’s amazing how much easier it is when you throw strikes.

Stealing bases(trying to) and sticking with Holcombe cost us this game. Stephen's was very good. Our hitting was disappointing for sure

Stephen is somehow able the pitch 7 innings and not walk a single batter, then we bring on the same old same olds and they find a way to walk 4, hit 1, and wild pitch the two winning runs into position.

All in two innings. So enjoyable.
