As long as his Coach says this he will continue on his merry way.Hopefully he didn't flee from them because he had been drinking, but from my years in LE that is a pretty common reason. At a minimum he is putting himself, and more importantly, others, at risk. His lack of impulse control regarding his driving, especially considering his prior incidents, is definitely concerning. And he is in his mid twenties now, so the excuse of youthful immaturity is far behind him.
Coach Mark Manning's comments on the issue indicate that Ferrari won't be facing anywhere near the maximum punishment in comments he made earlier in the day.
