Does UGA losing to South Carolina increase the chances of the NCAA reducing the suspension of AJ Green? Reducing from 4 games to 3 would put him on the field against us in2 weeks.I know it should have no effect, but I'm having trouble convincing myself thatit won't be on the minds of the folks handling the appeal.

I say they reduce it, now. Although, I'm not certain UGA wins with Greene. It would have been a better game to watch, however. I had SC as a slight fav (-1.0) preseason... it worked out:)</p>

Today at my daughter's soccer game a Georgia homer dad was talking about Georgia appealing Green's suspension. They have petitioned it be reduced to two games hoping in reality to get it down
to three. The basis of the petition is the length of the Dareus
suspension being two games. Apparently Georgia feels good about it
because the petition will eventually go to the the same board that
overturned the Misoli denial.

To say he was ill about the outcome of yesterday's game was an understatement. According to him there is a rift between the Georgia cigar boys on how to handle the Richt situation. A lot of them are still pissed about last season and feel Richt was too loyal to the DC and let him stay too long when they wanted the DC gone at the end of the previous year. They also feel Richt is too soft and has lost his fire because of his success. They feel they should have had more success. Too many winnable games petered away. That in itself sounds really stupid but you have to live around Georgia fans to understand.

Last part was totally out of the blue; guess who is on the short list? Mullen because he has knowledge of the arch enemy Florida as well as the rest of the East. Apparently you guys have more to worry about than the departure of The Hat. Per this parent, Mullen would have to totally hose this season to be removed from the list.

and Mullen ain't going nowhere til he at least turns in a 7 win season, which is now unlikely because Auburn was pretty much going to have to be one of those.

I like Mullen and everything he's doing, and he's proven to be the total package, EXCEPT for proving to be a consistent winner.

I have no idea how they'll rule, but UGA's loss to USC won't be a factor.

Dareus took a trip (valued at $1700) to a party hosted by an agent.... AJ took $1000 CASH directly from an agent...

Dareus got 2 games.... AJ should get >2....

simple, I think?

Not sure why $1000 > $1700. What difference does it make how many middle men were involved?
