Not a bum, but I agree with the sentiment.
Notice that Michigan State, Auburn, Florida, Arkansas, UCLA, and Kentucky were BIG or SEC teams where Franklin did not land. He ended up at a meh program in the ACC.
Obviously other power conference teams did not think any more highly of him than those of us who wished him gone years ago.
Wait, wut? So, because he didn't land at ... Kentucky, for instance, he ruined our program? I can't even process that, it's so poorly thought out. Specifically regarding Kentucky, which seems like a crap job, regardless ... the job wasn't even available until after Franklin was hired at VA Tech. So, now Franklin is being blamed for not inventing a time machine?
Regardless, we have NO CLUE if Franklin wanted any of those jobs. Maybe, because he's been up and down the east coast with his family over the years, he wanted to stay there, if possible? And he ended up landing a P4 job in an area with which he's generally familiar (recruiting, etc.). Oh noes! Franklin was linked to the Florida job ... now, of course, all the folks who have agendas, or fake inside knowledge, will spew their speculation as fact as to why that didn't happen ... but, apparently, there was some mutual interest there ... I guess Florida was toying with the idea of ruining their program, too?
Your post is just SO poorly thought out.
Holy crap ... no wonder no coaches wanted to come here and be subjected to this insanity.
