Just me personally, I don't see it as a diss to Johnny Football. Sure, you could make it seem that way, but never once did he direct that towards JF or even hint at it. I think the media is trying to make a story out of something that isn't there...
How is that considered a shot at Manziel? There were a lot of athletes there, so by their logic McCarron was taking a shot at all of them by saying that.
I don't see anything about manziel. In other words, nope I'm not there I'm busy preparing to win another BCS title.
1. He could have said nothing
2. he could be responding to someone saying why are you not there
3. people read into stuff too much hastened by a media desperate for more stories faster.
4. some writer at USA today nate scott made the insinuation about manziel and wrote an article slanting it that way.
By him even responding, it was a diss for sure. He should have said nothing. You have your head buried in the sand if you think it wasn't aimed at Manziel. That's the problem in this country right now. This is somehow 'politically correct' in that while he didn't say Manziel, he's not guilty of malice. But we all know what he meant.
This is why you shouldn't be on twitter......it almost requires you to respond to this type garbage.
Not directed @ Manziel at all the way I read it. They were hanging out last Thrs nt drinking beer at the Waldo & Sons QB Camp, now he's throwing him under the bus?
Actually caught a lot of his time today on the tube and I have to admit I was impressed. He did not sound cocky at all. Other than the bowtie, lack of his girlfriend being there and playing for my most hated team ever, he did a good job.
