This is the kid BYU leads for right? Cool he’s visiting, I wouldn’t mind taking him away from them too.

[Crazy4Blue]

I would love to sign him but it looks like a drive up the price visit to me. Hope not.

This kid's got game

I’m thinking the same thing, just like the guard that visited from BYU who had “zero” interest in coming to UK, it’s a money grab.

Definitely could be.

Why do we care if a kid makes BYU pay more.?

Definitely BYU's to lose on this one. He's getting the Dybantsa and Bruce Branch treatment. Little to no shot at UK landing him. But it is worth kicking the tires, making a pitch and seeing how it is received. You never know. The fact that AJ is taking the visit is a small something to be optimistic about. Most figured he'd already commit to BYU by now. I wouldn't call it a whiff if Pope doesn't get this kid as I believe the staff is more focused on trying to lure Rosser away from UNC/Ark or get Benji to reclass. But if a 5 star wants to visit and listen to your pitch, even if you have no shot going in, you let em.

If we have no shot at getting him, why are we having him in for a visit?
Maybe Pope knows…….

Feels like trying to get a raise to me from BYU. We haven’t really been mentioned much with him, all BYU noise and I’m shocked he’s even visiting. Maybe Alfred has a in on him or something too.

A visit always gives you a shot even if it’s slim. No visit gives you zero shot.

I mean if a super model asks me on a date to make the guy she actually likes jealous, I'm not saying no. But I in no way expect to take her home and score.

Why would you care if the hot chick was using you to get the attention of the guy she really wanted to date… Right? Right?!?

Of course we both know that would never happen, don’t we.
