"Caught the eye" of Bama = more clicks. I'm sure Stoops knows about this kid and he hasn't offered to date. I'm not saying he's not good but UK has already offered guys in his class.

All these conversations about bama looking at this kid and that kid and the "oh my goodness he chose bama..." need to end ...Alabama can look wherever they want...and they do...

secondly, Alabama is not on our radar in terms of competition for recruits...let's worry about Missouri, UT, and SC caliber talent and beating those staffs for kids...if a kid is good enough to go to bama, they're probably going to go to bama or one of the top powers with the exception of a very few...

also, I think Saban may still be a bit sore about the once in a blue moon exception Elam so he may go out of his way to snag some bluegrass state talent whether he intends for them to play or not...just out of spite because he can afford to burn a few scholarships...

Saban was very impressed with Elam, think I read somewhere that he said he was the best DT prospect that he had seen, I assume he was just talking about the 14 class. But based on his performance so far I doubt if he would have played for Bama yet, but probably a redshirt soph there this year with three more years, and we still hope he gets it and has two great years at UK.

But so far in his career Saban is probably thanking UK for keeping him away from Bama, he might be grateful vs vengeful.

Signed Giles, Holden and Tatum. And that's just who he wanted that went to Duke. We miss on several guys every year.

UK sells excellent coaching, excellent marketing and being a draft pick.
Bama offers the same thing. Maybe a pattern???
We have a couple of good coaches and a couple of questionable coaches. Not much marketing and very little draft picks.
Replace less than ideal coaches , market the program and develop players into draft picks.
