I had read that a little bit ago on Saturday down south.

Say it isn't so!!!

Wonder what he did?
Is UL going to hire him?

I know for a fact they have more than 1 player using roids. ;) said this several times the last couple of years on here. I know the sharp cookie who mixes the powder up.

I don't think there is any doubt they been juicing for years, or since Saban got there anyway. During the season their guys look like monsters, overpowering everyone, look faster than everyone. Then in their bowl games they look a little more mortal, against Clemson this year they just looked like another good team, DL wasn't overpowering, neither was OL.

But I don't know for a fact, just what I suspect.

It's been clear to anyone who isn't an Alabama shill that PED shenanigans have been going on there for several years. These guys road-grate in college than become average at-best in NFL. IMO

A lot of people have that suspicion.

The funny thing is that he was involved in recruiting MS. This year we finally had success in getting a few players to leave the state and say "no" to Ole Mi$$ (both are foreign concepts), and in order to do that he had to commit recruiting violations. It's time that either our boosters take a page out of the playbook of the Ole Miss bagmen, or Saban takes the Les Miles approach and holds a team vote to determine the fate of players/coaches. Darn it!

Now I am not making fun of you or accusing Bama or AU of anything, well Bama anyway. This surprises me about Davis. But Bama people thinking its hard to pull kids from MIssissippi, what about schools trying to pull kids from Alabama, you think that's a cakewalk?

On another topic, 2 of the kids OM bought are dropping like rocks in the draft tonight. I thought it was only UGA kids who ever surrendered to smoking a little weed.

Oh, it definitely isn't. But don't you think it's interesting that the difficulty of pulling the top kids out of MS is now in the same ballpark of how hard it is to get a kid to leave LA or AL?

To be honest we don't really recruit Mississippi awfully hard. Pruitt put some offers out In LA and we ended up getting 1 there and we have put some offers out in Texas too. We are recruiting Akers like mad this year but I really can't remember the last highly ranked kid we recruited from there. We recruit the Carolinas, Florida and Georgia hard, had out a handful of offers in Tennessee and Alabama, have pulled a few from Tennessee, but the last kid we got that was a good player from Alabama was Ben Jones and I don't think he had an AU or Bama offer. There is one in Bama the coaches feel they have a shot at this year, Nico Collins, but until we sign one from Alabama I ain't holding my breath. This year is the year of the DB in Georgia, about 10-12 very good ones this year and we are after one in Tennessee too, I don't think we get Gibbs, he has family connections to UT or Jamis WIlliams. Kirby is looking for longer cbs, well Tucker too I guess.

There's Buh's replacement! Boom!

Not sure he will be able to coach anywhere for awhile, he has been with Saban a long time and for Saban to fire him as quick as he did he may have one of those "show cause" tags following him. If not, now that would be the homerun hire.

It wouldn't make any difference what Bama ever did.
They are like the North Carolina of football.
The NCAA would not dare damage their cash cow.

I sure hope that's the case...Would be so sweet to see that Title taken away.

In light of the UNC situation I don't think anyone should care what any school does. I hope Ala and anyone else that comes under "investigation" by the NCAA tells them(NCAA) to take their investigation and go to hell

Wish we paid recruits better and had players juicing, would make falls around here a lot more fun.
No Thanks....I know UK isn't perfect but I think we try as harder than most to be "clean." I don't mind with pushing the envelope and using any loopholes that are legal but I really don't want UK to be included in the same conversation with the UL's, UNC's, Miami's etc.

Don't think that would happen, NCAA would just suspend the players that's all. The Florida QB who ended up transferring out texted positive for a banned substance. No wins taken away.

it still kills me that jarmon lost a whole year over an otc weight loss supplement sold legally in all 50 states but ul has guys fail 5 drug test and never miss a game and the big boys have guys test positive for ped's and miss 10 games. i am really done with the ncaa. if it is ever put to a vote i will email the ish out of everyone in the sec to leave and start a new organization. .let the ncaa have all the schools not in the p5 and start a new org with teeth and cajones. and start punishing cheating with $$$$ penalties instead of all the other bs.

I don't disagree with you, but who is going to run the new organization? NCAA use to try to keep the playing field level, but with conference networks and tv deals the money has gotten too big. I think there should be a conference set COA, of course if I were an AU or UT fan I wouldn't because I would like that advantage. AU buys 4-5 players a year, OM buys 3-4 a year. OM fans are saying Tunsil was confused and didn't know what he was saying, but he has been taking money since before he signed with them.

Maybe their OL & DL will shrivel up between now and the time we play them this fall.

They took PED's as part of a health class experiment,so it's an academic issue pure and simple.Nothing to see here
