Alabama band front row seats

while the MSU band sat in the nose bleeds at Bama last year. This honestly has nothing to do with the band but simply the principle that we don't need to let Bama bend us over and just take it. Things like that shouldn't happen.

We give seats in certain sections to visitors. They may decide for themselves where the band sits within the allocation we provide.It could be that we gave whatever lower level seats we got at Bama to BDC donors and stuck the band upstairs. </p>

but it's our own athletic department that put the band in the nosebleeds last year. I think the way it works is that out of the ticket allotment the visiting team gives us, we get to choose which seats to sell and which to put the band in.

The opponent decides how many seats that the band will take up and where they sit.

Our athletic dept. sends anallotmentof tickets to visiting teams to do with what they wish. They can sell them to fans, save an allotment for the band, etc. Ole Miss' athletic department was sent tickets primarily in the west side upper deck and that is where they chose to put them. Same thing with Bama last year, our athletic dept. put our band in the upper deck last year, not Bama.

I just showed them part of my forearm, and moved downfield a bit.

But many of the fans are older and have trouble getting to their seats in the lower area, let alone getting to the upper deck. I suppose you could ride the elevators on the way up, but it's virtually impossible to do after the game's over ... and even walking down is tough.<div>

1. The band represents the university. I would much rather see and hear our band in the grandstands, not the upper deck. It looks trashy and... awkward... for the band to have to sit up there. It comes across as a liability for the band to even come because it seems like someone said "eh, just put them up there. Those are the cheapest seats and no one gives a 17." Even though they aren't the hippest group in the world, they represent Mississippi State and I sure as 17 don't want the band that represents us to have to sit in the 17ing nosebleeds with Alabama's finest.

2. Having sat in the upper deck last year at Alabama, that is where the sidewalk alum sit. As I remember hearing (having friends still in the band), they had **** thrown at them all night for not sitting down, so much so, they moved the tubas down to the sides. Having sat in the lower section with the band at Alabama, I can say it is NOTHING like that.
