That's exactly how I felt about the Huskers play versus Tennessee. I don't care that we were outmatched. We played soft. I got really tired of being watching them put in just a little more effort on every down. Trust me, I've got the excuses down. We just didn't act like we wanted to be there.

What is impressive is that a player on their team knows the difference between playing hard and soft. Not convinced our coaching staff knows the difference yet either...

Riley and his staff came from the Pac12 too.. Except for maybe USC & Stanford the rest of the Pac 12 conference plays soft to begin with.

Hard to argue with the Bama's DE on that one, but for most of the day the Tide's O-line got its *** whipped just as badly.

Washington was not soft - they did not hold up well against 'bama's front 7. Take away 2 plays (the INT TD return and the long TD run late) and it was a 10-7 game. 'Bama can talk all the smack they want - Clemson looked like the better team on Saturday.

Clemson made mistakes and still looked good. I also think Clemson played the better team and didn't struggle with it.
