They lost to one (#10-OM)
And the other took them to overtime (#20-LSU)

This singular stat makes me feel better about our game this Saturday. On the flip side, both of those were road games for them. They have played well at home.

Funniest thing about this is Sagarin ranks their schedule as #3 in the country.....someone explain this to me.

My understanding is that hasn't been factored into Sagarin because they haven't played us yet....and according to Sagarin, Alabama is #1 team in country, we are just #7.

Both of those games were on the road. So was their 14-13 win over Arkansas. Bama's reputation among the "experts" as the best 1-loss team in the country is based on their performances at home against Florida, Texas A&M, and Tennessee. But, I think we are playing them in Tuscaloosa this year.

There is no doubt we will get their best shot. I don't care what happened in the LSU game, and I'm sure Saban already has his team beyond it also.
I believe we can stop the run effectively. What we can't do is give Simms a lot of time to make decisions or let them get the ball to Cooper in open space.

The fact that they struggled against a LSU team that we dominated is helping. But don't forget we both struggled to put Arkansas away.

Finally, we're the #1 team in the country and we're considered underdogs in this one. Nail that to the wall. Tell those 2 and 3 stars that here's your chance to show Alabama what you think of them when they passed you over.

We have two games remaining in which we have to be the very definition of Relentless Effort.

I've already had a bama fan tell me Saban calls a conservative game plan against LSU every year and they should have no problem with us. Will be a wide open Bama offense.

i'm thinking if our players realize it is us against the world.... they might just be punching 'bama right in the mouth a few good times. no crumble.
