Alabama looked like Louisville

My good buddy who's a UK fan came over and watched the Alabama game last night and the Crimson Tide looked a whole lot like Louisville. It was uncanny.

Taking ill advised shots at one time they were 2 for 19 from long distance. They were missing layups and sulking about it during live play. They were turning the ball over with careless passing. My friend wasn't impressed with his Cats and said they just took advantage of how bad Alabama was.

The Alabama players were showing the same body language of a team who seemingly cannot do anything right as they continue to free fall. It looked all to familiar to me.

I think Nate Oates is off the Cards coaching search list as he has no answers to why his team has imploded.

The push and vibe for Kenny Payne seems real strong right now. I think they wait until March Madness is over, might have a candidate emerge that we don't see right now. Gotta have the interview process under this microscope. Some current guys coaching may not want their name attached to it right now, don't want to distract their current team.

I think what is making the situation stressful is the reality there aren't any great candidates out there right now.

Why are they hiring a search firm for god knows how much? They just return and suggest another Nate Oates or another Chris Mack. We need a elite recruiter and a excellent player developer I wonder if we know someone who checks those boxes and wants the job? I’m so sick of this school being run from Lexington.

It didn’t help that Oates suspended one of their best 3 pt shooters for the game. For violating team rules. Oh, that does sound like us…

Pained me to watch a group of guys trying to pass the ball around yesterday when it's not what they can do well at all. It's the only chance they probably had against that zone and there was an effort most of the time to pass it.
This is a team full of shooters. I hope the new coach brings in some guys willing and able to pass the ball.

I agree not a big fan of Oats or the hiring of a search firm.

They need to take their time. No need to rush find the best fit for Louisville
