Knowing exactly who this cuntsh!it was the moment he walked in the door, he played coy and told Nate, “I don’t give a damn who you are, you put you pants on one leg at a time like everyone else, back it up”.
But after he puts his pants on, he makes gold records.

Nate Oats is a hell of a basketball coach.
Bruce Pearl is a hell of a basketball coach.
Trying to say he’s not a good coach because he’s a better recruiter seems silly to me. Like “Sure, that CEO increased profits and share prices, but only because we sold more units. Our per-unit margin didn’t increase.”
It’s as if some people don’t realize that building a roster is an element of coaching. Not to mention getting them to play hard.

It's the impact of a head coach that is debatable. Some argue they make a huge difference. I'm on the side that believes they make a minor difference when they have an elite roster. I believe a player that's a leader makes more of an impact. I keep going back to the LSU Coach I example. That was an elite roster with a leader or two.

Nate Oats is still a hell of an as-shole.
Bruce Pearl, to my shock and fairly recently changed opinion, seems to be a decent human.
