Ali Farokhmanesh is a Husker b-ball assistant?

I guess I don't follow Husker basketball close enough. Farokhmanesh (pronounced fuh-ROAK-muh-NESH) is that player from Northern Iowa who hit shot after shot in a game vs. Kansas in the NCAA Tourney a number of years ago. UNI knocked KU out early in the tourney and advanced to the Sweet 16. Great player. Coached by Greg McDermott now of Creighton?

I believe he is a grad assistant on the staff and not a full time staff member.

I don't believe Farokhmanesh would have played for McDermott. He was a JUCO transfer, so I think Ben Jacobson would have taken over by the time he got to UNI.
