I think this is great news. I know some posters on this site will find a way to criticize each of these hires. As Taylor Swift said "haters are gonna hate". Far be it from me to rain on your parade. It's true the proof will come nine months from now. However, as a life long Gamecock fan I'm cautiously optimistic about 2026. I also think who leaves and who comes when the portal opens will tell us a lot. I'm truly amazed how many great players who will be competing in the CFP are on their second or third schools. College football is radically different from the way it was a decade ago. I still love it and will continue to pull for the Cocks until I'm on the other side of the grass.

I was ok with the OC hire, I don’t know enough about the other two and wasn’t much interested. But now I hate all of them. I would hate for the hurt feelings brigade to be wrong.
Donati knows what type of coaching talent Briles is. He's setting himself up for the future if need be too.
