Racing in the Street, at number 8, is too high, imo.

Pleasantly surprised that Born in the USA is ranked so highly. People tend to dismiss it (and other songs on the Born in the USA LP) as too commercial.

I don't know how to properly rank Atlantic City. It's by far and away his best song...when The Band sings it.

Not sure what number it checks in at since I can't access [and don't really care] but my personal favorite is Bobby Jean. Remarkably [at least to me], of the seven songs from BitUSA released as singles, Bobby Jean was not one of them. Per setlist.fm, Bobby Jean is the 14th most played song throughout his concert career having been part of 751 sets. The title track and Dancing in the Dark come in at #s 7 and 6 respectively in 1070 and 1187 sets.

The writer inflated all the songs from Born to Run about 30 spots each. Thunder Road and Junglelanf were way too low.

What is setlist FM?

Enter the name of an artist and their most recent setlists will pop up. Fairly extensive archives. Searchable by artist, venue, tour name, etc. Obviously some gaps because someone has to have attended to post a list though I could also believe some artists/managers post their own.

I often use it in advance of going to a show to see if a setlist is fixed or varying for a particular tour. Just a great site.

Now that I've seen the list, it's in sore need of an update seeing as how it came out in 2016: before Western Stars, Letter to You, and Tracks II.

Odd to me that the writer loved NYC Serenade and Rosalita but didn't like the rest of the songs on The Wild the Innocent.

Thunder Road and Born to Run should be reversed at 1 and 2.

Criminal that Thundercrack is at #111.

Hot take: the version of Atlantic City that Riley green recently put out is way better than the original

No song on any of those albums is in the top 100.

The work/albums of any artist/band past the age of 60 is crap, virtually without exceptions

I'll See You in My Dreams would be for sure. Last Man Standing would be a candidate.

I'll give you most of Tracks II being less than stellar. But if you want to talk about crap in the Springsteen canon, you don't have to look any further than Mary, Queen of Arkansas off of Greetings from Asbury Park released when Bruce was ::checks notes:: 24 years old.

I'm not really a huge Springsteen fan (or hater) per se, but I'm on Fire is a song that really brings me back to my youth. I was a little surprised to see that one so low, but I can't really speak to whether that's fair or not.

Yeah, I like "I'm on Fire" a lot. The music video for the song is also excellent.

GIven this new movie, I gotta say I really disliked the Nebraska album. Only song I really liked on it was "Atlantic City." And Johnny 99 was okay.
