Well, by God, if no other Rebels will jump in to defend Ole Miss, I will.
You people clearly have no understanding of how the UM student population affects our university's overall health and well being. MSU is the "people's university", that is, the people of Mississippi's university. With Mississippi being the fattest state in the union, it only serves to reason that MSU must be the fattest university in the nation. Being that Ole Miss has 55% out of state enrollment, we clearly have the lighter weight, and therefore healthier, student body. Sure we have roughly the same student dining options, but ours are better and healthier than yours. So yes, y'all need to lose weight.
You all could also stand to take a look at tsun and how we do things. It's a unified effort, and requires a stellar network of communication and a coordinated effort throughout our entire town, fan base, and boosters. It starts with SFA weekend and how we bring in 3* chefs and treat them like rock stars! We don't bash them and the delicious treats they prepare via free websites like Urbanspoon or Yelp. We know that their business partners and parents read those reviews, so we just don't write them. Instead, we lavish them with gifts of women, wine, and song. If that doesn't work we line their pockets with cash via hundred dollar handshakes during breakfast at one of our many fine eating establishments. Once we've gotten our hooks in them, we poorly support their restaurants and complain when they don't offer a vegan option. We don't care if they don't have a good career once we get them committed to opening a restaurant here. It's all about getting them to sign a lease on the square. It comes down to this, we'll do anything to maintain the ideal BMI for the student body of THE University of Mississippi.
