This seems fairly presumptive. I am sure there were players nominated that were not selected. The "work ethic" of their coach probably was not a determining factor. I find it hard to believe that no 8A coach nominated an offensive lineman but none were selected for the 8A unit. I think accusing coaches of being lazy without providing evidence is unfair.

Ask edgy how the teams are selected??? Players must be nominated by their coach or the conference rep. If the conference rep does not submit or head coach doesn't. They are off the list

I don't think there is anything "lazy" about the job that Phillips staff has done there. The odds are pretty great that they've accomplished more then you have.
