All-State teams question...

How many different Illinois All-State teams are published? I know there is the Coaches list, which is done by class. Also, Edgy Tim has his All-State team list, and I found one from the Preps Plus column in the Chicago Tribune. Are there any others that are published?

About a dozen to be honest....Champaign Gazette is another old time one as well

Wow...didn't know there were so many. Besides your list, are there ones you think hold more weight? The reason I ask is that my son is on one of the lists, and wanted to send the info out to some college coaches. I'm not sure if this is a real honor or watered down based on the number of lists published, if that question makes sense.

In my experience college coaches could for the most part not care too much....
