Michigan, Liberty, UAB and Vanderbilt all advanced at home. Wisconsin is about to win.

Couldn’t take care of business yet again. Bad.

The most disappointing aspect to this season is the six losses at home.It didn't happen because of the lack of fan support. It did happen because of poor performance on offense and defense. On offense there were too many long scoring droughts, missed layups and foul shots. On defense Rutgers had a hard time guarding quicker players that could create shots off the dribble.Nebraska and Hofstra were similar games.Rutgers scored enough points to win those games but the defense was unable to stop the quicker guards from scoring.

Fans turned out and that was great. 63% attendance. Colorado had 20 % attendance.

Amazing how last year the team played to crowd this year they have not responded to crowd.

Unfortunately it was Hofstra's superbowl and they loved the crowd and they had no pressure to lose.

Over the years we've heard lots of players, many sports, say the home crowd/away games does not bother them. All the noise juices up both teams, it seems. 'Hofstra's super bowl' is a good observation...they were probably more excited to be in Piscataway, NJ than we were. GO RU!

Hofstra responded to the crowd. Our team played hard. Unfortunately so did they and they made incredible shots.

Who cares. It’s the NIT. We were the biggest snub and our guys just couldn’t shake the disappointment. I’m not that surprised this happened. Season really needed to be over. It sucks because it will probably cost Caleb NDPOY. Can’t go giving up 88 points to Hofstra. We didn’t rebound. Didn’t care. Can’t say I blame the guys too much. We were the only team in the NIT that expected to hear our name called on Selection Sunday.

When they were up 5 with 27 seconds to go they had the disappointment shaken. And they got off to fast start. So "couldn't shake the disappointment" is a bunch of ********, sir.

I'm guessing that voting has already taken place.

Stop, don't you know you're not allowed to cite facts or think logically on this board, please just keep it to pure emotional rants and misinformation. You need to get with the program.

Pike screwed up. We shouldn’t have let them get a shot off. We had 2 fouls to give.

Regardless - it shouldn’t have been a 5 point game. We gave only gave up 74 or more points in a game 4 other times this season (one being when Minny hit 6 straight 3s in 70 seconds). We didn’t rebound. Didn’t play with our usual defensive energy at all. It’s really tough to play motivated for 40 minutes in the situation they were in. And we were the only team in that situation. Nobody else was projected as IN.
