All things considered, which realistic bowl game would you rather attend?

Cotton, Peach, Music City or Gator. Those are the 4 we seem most destined to go to. I think we are above the Bham and Liberty Bowl. Obviously I would much rather go to the Outback or Capital One, but I don't think we're at that level.

So out of the 4 which bowl game would be best, considering ease of travel, bowl experience, quality opponent, things to do, etc.

I say Peach because it's Atlanta and in a good TV time slot, NYE, etc. Cotton and Gator would be a little more prestigious I guess, and have less familiar opponent, but they are a long way away.

My vote is for the Gator Bowl. A New Year's Day Bowl in the state of Florida is something I've never experienced. I've been to the Peach Bowl (several times), I've been to the Cotton bowl (as well as Jerry's World), and it will be freezing cold in Nashville. Go Gator.

You cannot beatthe Georgia Dome, Chic-fil-a, and cold beer. Give me the Peach all day every day.

I would love to go experience Jerry World, never got to go to any of the Peach Bowls we have been in so that would be cool, and out of all three cities Nashville would be the most enjoyable, that place is awesome. I could care less about going to FLA, but thats just my opinion.

Just a short drive down the road. Warm Dome. Cold Beers. New Years in Buckhead. Sounds awesome to me.

1. I've been to the Cotton Bowl the last two seasons. It's not all that.
2. Tickets cost a metric ***-ton. It's like going to the BCS championship, except without the prestige or quality opponent.
3. The game is on January 7. Did they get scheduling tips from the organizers of the Birmingham Bowl?

I would prefer (in this order): Gator (because we've not been there and it's a New Years Day bowl), Music City (because we've not been there and it's a cool town), and then the Peach.

If we don't go to Peach, Music, Cotton, or Liberty (Last resort) what type of hit do you think the fan base going would take.

With this economy the farther away the bigger hit. I don't see more than 25K going to Cotton, 35-40K to Music / Peach, 50K+ to Liberty....... thoughts

It would give the flagship guys something to talk about (Our last year's bowl was a more quality bowl than your bowl is).

It would be nice to get into teh Heppin Peoples Bidness.

I don't doubt they would bring that up.They will alsoconveniently forget that they madelast year'sCotton Bowl with a 4-4 SEC record and two wins over I-AA/FCS teams.

Anywhere else and I'm pretty happy. Peach and Cotton would be fun and both are in domes. Nashville is a fun city and an easy drive for me. Any of the Florida bowls are fine because they are in Florida and the weather should be good.

also.... the peach has a fan party thing at the aquarium the night of the 30th. that would be a pretty cool venue for a party.

but I have it down my list based on the the new date of January 7.I'm not sure who thought that was a good idea, but I hate it. First of all, it will havean impact on attendance as I have to believe that a number of people simply won't get the time off to travel to Dallas after having the Christmas Eve and NYE off. Further, by the time January 7 rolls around people are ready for the NC game. I don't like it at all.

GA Dome is a great venue; 3)Music City - Nashville is a great town, drawback - usually freezing; 4)Cotton - Jerry's World, drawback - Jan. 7,ticket price

The Music City will have the best atmosphere for New Year's weekend, but that stadium will be cold as 17.

Peach should be great. NYE, indoors, familiar territory. That's a shitshow waiting to happen.

Cotton has the prestige and venue, but that date kinda sucks.

An early afternoon game all the way down in Florida is a bit of a drag, buta New Year's Day bowl would be pretty special.

I have hotels reserved in Dallas, Atlanta, and Nashville (DAN, ha.) I recommend the following:

Crowne Plaza Arlington (indoor pool/tub, shuttle to Jerry World)
Hilton Downtown Atlanta (team hotel, walking distance to Dome)
Holiday Inn Express on Broadway in Cashville (enough said)

All have good rates, no cancellation fees, and are easily accessible to the nightlife/game.
