You’ll not find me with strong opinions about how uniform designs look but putting TN in that terrible orange instead of forcing them into away jerseys is distasteful.

For those who were there. Do you remember the Jet that flew over right before kickoff that had Go Vols on the underside of the wings?

There will likely be a very large contingent of UT fans in town for that game, it’s their first game in Starkville since 2012 and we are their only road game this year that isn’t one of their usuals. I have concerns that the East side will be very orange similar to what happened with the 2022 Georgia game.

I was there too. Wasn't that Peyton's first college playing time after Helton got hurt?

Also, Moulds was so clutch.
Manning might have gotten some mop up duty in previous games, but that was his first major playing time. I believe he started every subsequent game for the remainder of his career. Todd Helton quit the football team after that season and focused on baseball. Pretty cool that the two quarterbacks who played in that game for Tennessee are both in the Hall of Fame in different sports.

Every Tennessee fan in West Tennessee will be at this game because it's closer than Knoxville and tickets will be cheaper.

Brandon Stewart was also a QB on that team and played in the game. Leaving the game, I remember thinking he may have looked a little better than Manning on that day. He ended up at A&M with what seems like an unimpressive career.

Video from the time doesn't do justice to how fast and athletic Moulds was. On his fourth down catch against Tennessee from that video clip, he had to reverse direction and jump backward and up, upfield, to make the grab.

He had a TD catch against Alabama in the west corner of the north end zone where he must have had a world record-grade high jump.

Its the Matthew McConaughey game: All white, all white, all white.

I do t mind the whiteout, certainly dint mind the interlocking MSU, but why are we commemorating an old Liberty Bowl game at all, much less on that weekend?

I was there also, first game I attended since the mid 80's . If I remember it right Peyton's first pass was a swing pass the Rb that had to time in the NFL also. Threw it to his left and the Rb took it 40 - 50 up the sideline in front of our bench. I thought things were going to get ugly real quick. Davis and Bouie were beasts. jackie always had great Rb's and monster OL.

And it was a checker board limo after game that was parked at where Barnes and Noble is now. We wondered if the limo and jet was for same person.
