It was in reference to a question about other programs using the KKK rally against us.

He didn't say anything about other programs. He referenced his own program. I could see how it could be taken as a jab if you try to read into it that he's saying others aren't getting strong, but he didn't come out and say it that way. You really have to read between the lines to find smack talk there, but that's what Mullen was looking for. He's obviously seeking out smack talk and has been since he got to MSU. That's his way of going about it, and I understand it because he's making Mississippi recruiting his primary priority. If he's going to do that, he's going to spend a lot of his focus in trying to run down his primary in state competition for that talent.
That's his perrogative, but if there is one thing I've learned, if you open your mouth to run smack, you're going to eventually end up eating your words.
