Are you sure it was only one? Steat is telling everyone that his sources state 10 games. Minimum!

They are having a typical thr meltdown the way they have after a loss. I dare not look over at Rupp Rafters. They are probably just freaking out with Grayson back. Love it. Get over it. unc's gonna have to deal with at least twice and UK may get to meet their Waterloo too. OFC

Some things going around: "K doesn't care about discipline." "Grayson was trying to hurt Santa Ana." "Coach K doesn't respect the game."

Deano helps create the cornerstone for decades of fraud so his teams can win a few ballgames. He passes the scam down to Gut and by the time it gets to Roy , that "cornerstone" has metastasized and infected COMM , EXSS , DRAM , PORT ( and Lord knows what other departments ) and involves virtually every athletic program on campus. Hundreds of athletes. Thousands of fraudulent grades. Untold numbers of victories that need to come off the books. And it was all done because Dean ( and Gut and Doh and Roy and Butch and Fed and Sylvia and Anson and Mike and Mack and Bunting and God knows who else ) "respect the game." BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Look , I'm disappointed in K too. I wanted 5 games but coulda lived with 3. But unx fans playin' holier-than-thou?! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

THR should be more concerned with that sociopath Kennedy Meeks. He must be stopped before his taunting causes an opponent to suffer irreversible psychological damage.

I don't think he does it with the style PJ Hairston did it. Just doesn't have that glare. OFC

And for the umpteenth time , Grayson only tripped twice. The one vs FSU was part an' parcel of some post-game grab-azz that the Seminole player instigated and neither shoulda been involved with in the first place. Nowhere NEAR the same as the other 2 examples. Either ONE of the other TWO are/were bad enough. No need to toss in that other incident. Apples an' bowling balls.

Good point. Was Roy "respecting the game" by lying to PJ about unx's intentions to try an' reinstate Hairston while making that dirty-ridin' moron run laps? "Repecting the game" by keeping 'im in school so Roy's beloved cesspool of a program doesn't meet the same fate as UConn?

I wish Jwill didn't want to be liked so bad. He is my favorite player ever, but In his quest to be the most impartial man in the world, he makes my heart hurt.

I flat out enjoy how opposing fans lose their minds when it comes to Duke. Queue up the "I Hate Laettner" 30 for 30!

I'll be honest, I have very little tolerance for people calling Jason Williams out. He is one of ours. Not just one of ours, but one of our GREATS. And a guy who is still in love with Duke as ever, and makes no bones about it.

But he is also entitled to his opinion, and as a broadcaster he is supposed to share his opinion. He is usually pretty honest and pretty balanced, and has stuck up for Duke and K FAR more than anyone else in the media.

I've got to say, I've been a bit disappointed at the way SOME Duke fans have treated JWill.

Oh, and UNC fans can suck my fat, hairy, low-hanging balls. That program is the most corrupt program in the history of sports by a country mile. They are worried about something that little kids do at recess? Are you ******* serious? Jesus christ, what a bunch of maroons.

I've gone to bat A LOT for Jay and have strongly disagreed with people for a while about him...

but ya know what... it be nice if he actually acted like a guy who's jersey hung in the rafters every once in a while. Because it isn't just about what he did for Duke, Duke did a lot for him.

Instead of every once in a while tweet garbage like "TAR. HEEEEELS."

I like JWill as well but you have to look at the overall effect and he is also doing it for his ratings. He is a good annaylist but he's going way to far for popularity and that's all he is doing.

I thought Bilas was pretty fair in telling everyone it's time to move on. Williams is more annoyed at the ACC.

I like both guys, but Williams gets to me at times.

I didn't think there was anything wrong with JWill's comments. He respects Coach K but he disagrees with him on this one issue. He's allowed to. I don't think we have any real basis to attribute some ulterior motive to him (such as "he's claiming to disagree with Coach K because he desperately wants to look impartial"). I'm taking the man at his word. He has an honest disagreement with Coach K on this issue. Fair enough.

Similarly, I disagree with those who attribute some ulterior motive to Coach K as regards his decisions here, both the initial decision to label the suspension as indefinite and his decision to have Grayson return last night. I take him at his word that when he initially handed down the suspension (what was that, 12 hours after the incident?) that he had not yet decided what the length of the suspension would be and it depended very much on Grayson's attitude going forward. I also don't believe that Grayson returned because of K's upcoming back surgery. I don't see K bringing Grayson back unless he thought Grayson was ready to come back.

And Grayson certainly looked ready to come back. I don't think he's looked that good all season mentally. No scowling, no pouting, helping fallen teammates back up, being completely unselfish with the ball, no bad fouls, etc. Now, that's a lot easier in a 50 point blowout as compared to, for example, a game you're losing when you're personally 1-11 from the field so we will see how he does when facing adversity. But I liked what I saw from Grayson last night as far as attitude, that's for sure.

Here's the thing that drives me crazy about our guys like Bilas and Jay... all these other programs that have alum broadcasters have a "no shame" stick-up take for their former team EXCEPT ours. It's like every dang former player that goes into broadcasting gets set on being the most unbiased person in the world and in the process almost seems to become TOO critical of Duke. It's annoying because we already have haters. We don't need former players to team up with the haters (ie. Jay tweeting crap like TAR HEEEELS!!!). We see these guys like Kenny Smith that NEEEEVER pick against or talk bad about their former teams and I think for once we all just want one of our former greats to be that guy. Just as a big middle finger to the haters.

As for all the hate about Grayson coming back to the team, the way I look at it is that they simply want him kicked off the team so that they can be first in line to beg him to come play at their school. Don't tell me for one second that all these fans from other schools have such high morals that they wouldn't want Grayson scoring 20+/gm for their team. He'd be the highest sought after transfer in all of CBB lol.
