Everyone likes to talk about the big money makers like Iverson, Antoine Walker, etc, but I guarantee that there are many others out there in this same situation that just aren't as high profile. Also, anyone thinking that all those NBA players who went overseas or threatened to do it during the lockout did so to stay in shape, I got news for you... It was on their minds because they couldn't afford to not get paid.

I don't feel sorry for the guys because no one sat me down and taught me how to be smart with money. I think of it as common sense. At the same time, though, I've never made millions of dollars in a year so I can appreciate the difficulty in separating what you have now with what you're going to have in ten years.

If you are paid millions a year and went to college then that is plenty. Hand em a copy of "The total money makeover" just like everyone else that is too stupid to manage cash flow needs to read after they sign and turn em loose. AI can get a job like everyone else.
