I think I'm prepared for the backlash linking a 2 year old thread will bring. And yes, I am tooting my own horn a good bit here. But please try and put all that to the side for a second and read through this old thread. Nothing has changed. Mullen is still the same sorry *** coach he has been since day 1. We all just drank the kool-aid and bought in to his propaganda ********. Right now, it seems as though a lot of you are starting to wake up and see the light. NOTHING HAS CHANGED. THERE IS NO PROGRESS. It's year 5 and we are still dealing with the same old crap. For those of you that think we should give him another year, and allow Ole Miss and the rest of the SEC to further distance themselves from us, then I don't know what to tell you. You are beyond help, and whether you realize it or not, you play a role in our consistent mediocrity. We deserve better and its past damn time we demanded better.

No one cares. If we execute against Auburn in the 4th quarter, we win. Don't see how that's on Mullen. As I pointed out, this is the deepest D, I have ever seen at MSU, and it's only going to get better.

My overall impressions are that Mullen needs to bring in an OC to help with the offense. I have little faith in that happening, because of how much he controls. If we can get around that, we'll be on a better projection that we have been under Mullen. He just needs to get out of his own on way on that side of the ball.

Deeper, not better. Although if the injuries hadn't occurred, I think this defense could've been one of the better in the sec

People do care. You might not care. That's on you. Deep D you say. Well whooptyfreaking doo. If our D stinks, but its deep, you still have a sucky defense. The Auburn game is just one game in a plethora of bad games. You want to blame the players for not executing, fine. Ill give you that one. But what about all the other games where we play like crap. Does Mullen get any of the responsibility in those games?

Our defense doesn't stink.

Sorry to go Game Theory, but the opponent's scores are indicative of the offense's lack of scoring as much as it is the defense's ability to hold down the teams......

Exactly. Sustained drives by your offense = less time your defense spends on the field trying to stop the other team's offenses. How do you stop a hurry-up offense? Keep their *** off the field.

We cant change the ending to 2012. I'm assuming that's what you mean by "all the other games". Our D has given up 21 points to Mike Gundy on a neutral field and 24 points to Gus Malzahn on the road. That's cooking with f*cking gas. Those are unbelievable numbers quite frankly.

Mullen needs some help with the O. Is that Dak Prescott or a different OC (with more input)? Who knows. But don't act like the world is falling about, because we are bad *** on D. That's with multiple injuries starting to add up. It's crazy how deep we are on that side of the ball.

Ever washed a window when there were pigeons on the roof? It's like having a great defense, and no offense. Listen to JB he's telling you something. wondering will we ever know the truth?

it's a tad more complicated than that, but that's the gist of it.

Saban didn't score 49 because he wanted to. Nor would he have scored 49 if he hadn't had to.....
