If you are the type that likes the leaded drink like me to keep you warm, we should be quite rowdy during the game. For the bourbon connoisseurs is it bad form to sneak Pappy 15 year into the game? And if not is it a sin to mix? Pappy will be sipped at the tailgate in true fashion, but drinking on the rocks is not practical during game time.

This thread just reminded me; I better buy my bourbon tomorrow. Assuming liquor shops closed on Thanksgiving??

You're welcome. Let's make it rowdy even in the blue hair sections, even though my blue hair is creeping up from the temples.

I know, I just got my answer, it's like lathering a perfectly cooked Delmonico with ketchup.

Why anyone would ever mix a decent bourbon is beyond me.

Well you can't drink it straight in the stadium or you'll get busted, so you have to buy a coke at the concession stand. You could poor it out and just use the cup I guess? The smell, especially in the blue hairs section, would be very noticeable and might get you in trouble. Think deeper my friend.

I've never had a problem drinking it on the rocks in the stadium.

Just buy a cup of ice. They will charge you as if you bought a coke because they keep inventory by the cup. Usually I can get ice refills without having to pay, but not always. If I had some blue hairs give me problems about it, I'd gladly pour my drink out, and then promptly begin ringing a cowbell in their face, cursing loudly, and doing anything else I could to ruin their game day experience that is not explicitly prohibited by rule, to show them that there are consequences for being disrespectful for other people. I can understand not wanting drunk, rowdy college kids sloshing their drinks around you, but if you're not acting any differently than other fans and they turn you in simply because your drink doesn't look like coke, that's 17ing ridiculous and what they really need is an *** kicking.

If for some reason you're uncomfortable doing this, I definitely wouldn't take anything nice into the stadium. Take any lower end bourbon that is not actual gut rot, and mix it with coke, and it will taste more or less like the good stuff would.
