Alright, so thoughts from last night

Pitching moves. I was pisses last night at a few of the decisions, and the one that still sticks in my crawl is Lemonis leaving Harding in 3 batters after he was clearly spent. However, a lot of it was the same damn stuff that has been working for Lemonis all year, and the bottom line is coach rolled craps last night. It happens.

TA and Rowdy. Look, clearly I’m not knocking these legends, but they’ve got to be better. They just have to. TA had some really poor at bats last night, and between the botched fly ball and Rowdy coming up empty multiple times when he had a chance to do some serious damage, it was just a bad, bad night. Thank goodness we have another game because they can’t go out like that

Pitching performance. When I look around at the teams in this CWS, I keep seeing over and over again where teams have had 3-4 guys really come into form late in the season on top of their ace(s) and closers. In our case, Cerantola and Fristoe have been shelved, Macleod is pitching like he’s seen a ghost, and we don’t have a soul we can count on outside of Bednar and Sims. The decline and inconsistency for a pitching staff this “deep” is just perplexing, and it very well may cost us a title

All that said, it’s go time, so let’s pour a drink and get this thing done tonight.

With Harding it was that he gave the seven and nine batters four pitch walks where the pitches weren't even close. He may not have been tired, but he was off and needed to come out.

We should be good tonight, but if we make it to the championship series it's gonna be rough. We'll need the bats to really come alive.
