If we used the same color and design as Ohio State does that the silver helmet idea with a M-State logo on it would look pretty good! Im not saying that i would want this as the norm, but for something different, I think it would look good with the marron jerseys. I have always thought that grey and maroon look really good together, but I also really like the balck unis too.

I understand the bad associations with the White helmets. Those scars are still a little too fresh. However, I think it might be a neat little tradition to wear all white for one game a year (i.e., white helmets, white jerseys, white pants, white cleats)...like Texas' away look.
With the colors that are incorporated into our unis now, I don't think we really need to flirt with different color helmets. I think just changing facemasks and chin straps from time to time would give us plenty of variation.....would love to see the maroon helmet with grey facemasks.</p>
I happen to like different uniforms and recruits love it. That's not speculation on my part either, I'm a volunteer FCA rep with an inner city Memphis high school team and they love Oregon's uniforms. I mean love them. And most of these guys don't know Auburn's mascot...literally (we'll play trivia with the guys quite often). But everyone of them knows about Oregon's uniforms.

what the Maroon jersey would look like with grey/silver pants. I never even considered the silver helmet, but thought if they ever went with silver pants then maybe they could change to a grey facemask.
Messing around with photoshop I came up with this. I couldn't do very much detail because this started off as a small picture. On the left is what we have now and on the right all I changed was the silver pants, silver numbers on the jersey and silver helmet.
If anyone has a high resolution picture that may turn out better, I am willing to try it out.

I think we should just change our school colors from maroon and white to.."TBA"..just like the time for the games to start. Then we could wear whatever the <17> the players want. That way our "identity" will be well known in the college world as the school with the TBA colors.
and that is the baseball MS. It's simple, and it looks likea logo that has been around for a long time and could stay for a long time, but no we have to try to be cute and come up with logos for a high school team. When I become the next AD, we will have a logo that will stay forever, the baseball MS. Look forward to it.

football players like the way something looks, why wouldn't we wear them? 17 anything that helps with recruiting or excitement we should do. Its a no brainer.
I had a lucky penny with a hole thru the center when i was 9 or 10. We won every single game I went to for 2 years (when I had the penny). Guess what happened on that 3rd year. I lost the penny?? 17 no. We got our *** handed to us for most of the season with or without the lucky penny.

One guy in this thread had a great color suggestion.........TBA. While we are at it.......nickname.......TBA.......school name.......TBA. Hell we could change school and nickname for the opponent. Be the Mizzile Shizzle Dope dealers, stealers, and killers next time we play in Memphis. That should be a hit with the youth in Orange Mound. Then when we play in Oxford.......be the U.S. Marshals 1962......just to piss them off.

those Nike super suits on 11/13 which is...when state goes to tuscaloosa. i'm not real suspicious but i hope they play as well in their alternate unis as we do in those awful black things we wear.<div>
