I went to the volleyball match were the alumni vs the current Louisville team. It is hard to judge much because the Alumni team had a small roster and wasn’t able to rotate like a normal team would have. Needless to say they were very tired after the 2nd set. I don’t know why they didn’t have more players, I saw Ceci Rush in the stands and wondered why she wasn’t playing.
Preseason Louisville is ranked 4th in the country. They will have a very tough schedule so we will find out how good we really are early. We play nationally ranked Texas early in the season September 10. We lost some really good players from last year, players that have been in the lineup starting their freshmen year.
Luckily we have some key players returning and the freshmen class looks really good. It was the first time I was in the L&N Arena and I really liked it.
