They were running through top 25 matchups and had just started talking about us.

They said the same things... Bama can sleepwalk for the 1st half, State has no momentum whatsoever, etc.

My only hope for this game is that we have as few injuries as possible. We are a pretty lifeless program right now. And, from what I have watched, there is no excuse for that besides terrible coaching across the board.

Today's game has moral victory written all over it. I'll consider it a MV if Russell can walk off the field under his own power, and all of our OL and DL are upright at 0:00. If we are within 35 at 0:00, we're moral victors.

Just heard Steven's on Hadad's gameday show....his take.......aTm defense is the worst in the history of college football. We should have scored 31 points. We are about to be maimed and mauled and our poor freshmen don't know it.

Maybe all he said is true, but you never ever hear a newspaper writer in Arkansas say the Razorbacks were going to get destroyed and their poor little freshmen were to dumb to know it. I don't care if they were playing the Saints this weekend.

State has no allies anywhere. Even from the paper 20 miles away.
