That was a pretty weak statement by Peterson with lots of loopholes. He says he doesn't plan on leaving. He says he hasn't been offered yet. And that statement was actually issued pretty early in the day before most of the talk even began.

I have no idea if Peterson is coming, but that statement doesn't mean anything as far as coach's statements go.

I understand the time listed is 1 something in the afternoon but it does say that Petersen issued the statement friday night. It's over, NEXT.

AND He specifically says.. "I am not taking the head coaching position at Mississippi State"
