I have been here since 2004 and yesterday was my wake up call. If you look at my history I have always supported the Huskers but this coaching move baffles me and unfortunately my biggest fears were validated by the coach yesterday.
We all have concerns my friend, all of us. I`m just not ready after one game against a good team to call for someone`s head.
Look at the chances Pelini was given, hold Riley to the same standards.
I would just ban them. We've gone through too much crap over the years. Honest fans can voice an opinion and even vent sometimes. But blatant attempts to toll should be gone.
Pretty sure most of them won`t be back.
Some people need a time out to be sure.
Tough game and not the start we really needed but we need to give the staff some time. I am concerned about our defense and lack of commitment to the run game but we will see how it all plays out this season
I`m also concerned on a Hail Mary play that the decision was made to only rush 3 guys. If we pressure the QB in that situation no way can he make that throw.

May have been a bad call by our coaches, but I have seen many hail Mary type situations where other coaches did exactly the same thing. It is something that is definitely unusual. I probably would have come with another guy or two, but I am just another Biff the blogger. What do I know?
I actually don't have a problem with the 3 man rush. But I have no idea why Banderas and Gifford were in on that play. I understand Gifford is athletic but I would have had a WR or DB in the game over them on a Hail Mary.
What you say is true. I`m old school and think defenses need to be aggressive not passive.
That's what I thought. I would have rather had Rielly/Burtch/Westy/etc than a couple LBs.
