Can he play left tackle instead of TE because man, the one we had this past season........
6'4 205 is what I can find. Not sure how dated that is, but probably tough to get to tackle size from there regardless.

But at least played in all 12 games this year and 8 as a true freshman the year before. May or may not be a game changer but sounds like somebody that should definitely be a contributor for us.

And apparently very little production in 2 years at a down FSU.
We are just not going to get better by targeting P4 bench warmers on the lines. I’d make an exception for MS high schoolers that may be coming back with a chip on their shoulder. But these guys generally have attitudes and aren’t nearly as good as they think they are, and certainly aren’t better than what we have (had).

Afraid you are correct. Players that couldn't produce at Florida St, arguably worse than us the last two years, doesn't give me the warm and fuzzies.

Is this not concerning we are taking so many FSU players when FSU has been *** for the past two years?
If we are taking OL or DL that have only been on campus a year or two, that doesn't bother me too much. We've had plenty of OL and DL that were pretty weak as freshman or redshirt freshman be solid contributors for us. I'd obviously love to have people that stood out as playmakers, but those are obviously a hot commodity, particularly on the lines. Right now if we end up with 8 OL that belong in a two deep on an SEC team, that will be an improvement from where we are.

For this player in particular, I'm particularly not worried about a DL who looks like he might be a tweener. Seems like the person Arnett's system might be able to put to better use than some others.

2,900 portal entries, 2,900 reasons why they are moving on. Most of them aren't good reasons. If you're not going to antie up for the proven commodity, you better do an extremely good job evaluating the "why" they are moving. Must say, I'm a little concerned with the trend here.
