In the Jet / Miami game last night when Braylon Edwards catches the ball and the defender slips Chris Collinsworth goes off on how the defender slipped in the sodded infield area. He gives a big explanation on when that new grass gets put down it is not good footing.
The only problem was that the catch was made and the defender slipped in what would be the outfield grass. The sodded area was on the other 40. I was watching the game and gould see in the replay teh sodded area was not where Collinsworth thought it was and no one ever corrected him. And today on different shows (I heard it on both Dan Patrick and Mike and Mike) they have brought up this same mistake. Someone look at the damn video! I watched it again on the Jets site and it is obvious where the greener grass is. Braylon runs through it about 10 yards from where the catch was made.
