Amazing that a team which barely beat WVU in overtime is now ranked as the #5 team in both polls.
No national champ has ever blown through every game on its schedule. Ohio State in 2002 had close games and only beat Cincy because the Bearcats dropped TWO consecutive passes in the end zone in the 4th quarter. Take one game as proof of anything is like taking one drop of water from the ocean and making all your proclamations based on that one drop. It's silly. Hell, comparing what WVU does against common foes is meaningless, too. Team A is always beating Team B and then losing to Team C which lost to Team B. It's college football. Unpredictably is what they do best. Oklahoma State won. That's how I judge teams. How many games have you won? Who have you beaten? Overtime or 30 points, it's still one W. Notre Dame lost to Clemson by 2. Does that make Notre Dame rank ahead of every team except Clemson? Doesn't work that way.
