I think it was about 45 min to jacksonville. We stayed on the beach. if anyone decides to go there, I can give you a lot of seafood places and all to eat at in the Amelia/Fernandina area... Not a "SEC gameday" type experience but a beautiful "want to get the wife in the mood while I am at a football game" type

Amelia Island and St Simons are where the UGA folks stay for the "worlds biggest cocktail party" because the think Jacksonville is a ********.
