Far different from this year. Open on the road and get two probable top 15 opponents in the first four games. The lack of an early bye week makes this a murderers row. The good news is everyone else has only one bye week too. I'm feeling good about it, but that Thursday night Mizzou game after a bye just looks like an opportunity for us to blow it, along with playing Arky in Fayetteville. 9-3 is the benchmark for a good season next year, but bigger things are definitely possible.

With the return of Murderer's Row to end the season, I think 8-4 needs to be the floor. I'm going with a 10-2 prediction if only McKinney and Smith leave early. Losses at Arkansas and one of Auburn/TAMU (hopefully the latter from my perspective).

We could definitely have a drop off at the end of next season. I would expect Bama and Arkansas to be our two toughest games next year, with Missouri and Ole Miss probably both in the top half if not 3rd and 4th.

That is the type of schedule you can make a run with if you are worth a crap, but if you are average it has 6-6 written all over it. Just like 2011 and 2013. I agree with 00Dawg in that I hate to see Arkansas on the road between Alabama and Ole Miss, and although Arkansas is a game you would typically choose to play on the road rather than Alabama/LSU, it still will have to be predicted to be a loss at present.

It's really hard to get a read on mizzo, one minute you think they suck and the next they look like world beaters. Arky is going to be tough no doubt. I believe they return about everyone except flowers. I think we can still beat aubby and texas. Hopefully we can win all the home games but that's going to be very tough. You never know someone may step up out of the class we redshirted and peters may come in and light it up

Hopefully, we can learn to cover a tight end between now and next year's trip to Arkansas

That is a rough schedule, though. Three tough opponents at home, four more games against teams that we'd probably be favored against if not for being on the road, and then a Kentucky team that is no longer a freebie. This SEC West thing never gets easier

Maty Mauk is terrible...

and they're light along the DL. I was hoping against hope that we got to destroy them in ATL this weekend.

8-4. I said that for this year too, so maybe I will be low again.

No bye until 10/31 is freaking tough. Glad we get LSU and AU early. That should give us a leg up on them. If we are to have a good season, beating LSU is a must. To have a great season, aTm and Auburn are must haves. happy with 8-4, could be 10-2 type season if the OL gets in place and the D gets it figured out quick.

I think we will start off 6-2 with a home win against LSU and road losses at A&M and Auburn. Hope we can at least split the last four. Arky up there will be tough!
That would give us 8-4 or better.

We aren't going to destroy anybody with a passing game until our safety play improves. It's why we destroyed LSU for 3 3/4 quarters(they stuck to the run) and then they came raging back throwing the ball downfield.

We will have enough offensive weapons back to compete next year, it all is a matter of how our defense rebuilds. Hopefully the rotation this season will help with that. 7-5 bottom, 11-1 top... so I will go with 9-3.

Except Mauk is terrible and they can't throw the ball down the field...

their running game and Arkansas' QB being dreadful is the reason they were able to come back and beat the Pigs.

Can someone explain to me why Alabama and Auburn NEVER have to play another conference team the week before their game but State and OM can't get the same deal?
