Just said "A lot of people made the trip from Mississippi who couldn't afford it just to see their boys play in the CWS." WTF?
Makes no sense. How would he know one way or the other ... unless he was profiling to the stereotyped Mississippian ....
And there he (Patrick) called what I thought was an obvious error a hit for Henderson, man he's struggling this year. It was called an error by the way

I don't know why they have him call the CWS finals every year. He is terrible. He used to be good about 10-15 years ago, but he's terrible now. I'd rather have Grandpa Verne and Gary Danielsen calling the game.

Really? Isn't that the whole point of baseball? Throw stuff he can't hit and hopefully strike him out? I guess since we're not sailing them across the plate we're intentionally walking every guy at the plate.
