2. SC- Spurrier is slowly getting the Cocks where they need to be. They have possibly the conferences best WR and best TE. Their OL struggled at times, but has 4 starters returning and lots of experience. The QB and OL have to perform better in 08, having the weapons they have makes that easier. Defensively, the Cocks could have the conferences best, and even upgraded their DC for 2008. They have the best group of LB's and Secondary in the SEC. The DL has to shore it up to get them where they want to go. The Cocks go 6-2 due to being out-physicalled by LSU and then lose on the road at Fla.
What a great hobby you have Coach. "Shucks, I get my jollies by posting inane drivel on a message board!"

this was just one loss. I'm sure the Cocks can still finish 6-2.

there is only shame and ridicule, which is the way God intended it.

I tell you what though, if South Carolina finishes 6-2 in the SEC, I'll make Coach a moderator for life.

Really? State has just one loss and we are one of the worst teams in the country.

And i am willing to bet whatever you want to bet that USC does not finish 6-2 in the conference

I've been saying for years that Spurrier hasn't been the same coach since he won that national title a decade ago. I'd seriously just about as soon have Croom as our coach as Spurrier right now.

well in fairness to coach, the Cocks still could be out-physicalled by LSU and then lose on the road at Fla.

Vandy won the game with 225 yards of total offense....I'll be getting your *** HD with SC's top 20 defense that is averaging 200 yards a game after 2 outings
IF SC take care of the ball, they will have a chance to beat Georgia

I know this- Vandy and Kentucky are better teams than we are at this point...I hope something changes or we really are looking at an awful season

Anybody who gloats over winning a bet they were too chicken **** to make, should be banned. After a two-week ridicule period.

Louisiana Tech got their win with 243 yards of offense. Yet you blamed part of that loss on our WR coach turned DC. You aren't real smart, are you?

In all fairness, UGA hasn't played anyone yet, so it's too early to know if they are legit. Either way, were you able to say this with a straight face?

But it's highly unlikely Vandy is worth a **** this year. They've played two bad teams. To their credit they've beaten them, which is more than we can say. But they're still the same old Vandy. I see no better than 5-7 for them.

because for Sylvester Crooms to win at State, the defense has to score a touchdown. And we didnt get one last Saturday

The Dogs and Rebs need an SEC win. Well...I still hope they beat the Rebs. The appear to have a good D and a decent RB. I still give MS teams an edge at home.

For his gamecocks to finish 6-2 in the SEC, they will either have to a) win in the swamp or b) beat his beloved LSU tigers, you know, the guys he parties with.

I sense that Jacob Hester moving on left C34 broken hearted.

but I'd say unlikely (they ain't had a winning season since my first year @ MSU & I'm older than dirt). I think they lost quite a few players off last year's 'pseudo-decent' team, so I am somewhat impressed that they've won both games.
