Sorry to clog up the board with all this fantasy geek stuff, but its slow today.

Anyhoo, last year some fellow Cub fans and I started a league called the Neifi Perez League. The goal of the league was to put together the worst possible team of players that actually play. For instance, Paul Bako, a back up catcher, would be worthless because he never played, but Jason Varitek who played a ton but, (sorry Sox fans), sucks offensively would be golden. You lose points for homers, walks, steals, etc...but you get points for k's, grounding into double plays, caught stealing...you get the point. Same concept with pitching-a quality start is -10 points but, but if you are Carlos Silva and you pitch 5 innings, walk 4, K 2, and give up 5 earned you are Cy Young material sir.

Just to give you some perspective, the best player in the league last year was Carlos Gomez and the best pitcher was Daniel Cabrera.

I am changing the name to Dusty Baker Baseball since hopefully most of you never had to follow Neifi Perez's exploits in Chicago and we all are aware of Dusty's proclivity for playing ****** players. I am trying to figure out if I can do it as a head to head league, but for some reason, that I cannot remember, we could not do it last year. As for now it is a points league. Sooo if you think you can suck like Dusty join up using the info below.

Again it is on Yahoo

you could have just drafted the Atlanta Braves for this league. Andres Thomas would have been Babe Ruth.

Like the team has to have a minimum of 120 AB and 30 IP to score any points.

Other than that, it sounds like a great idea. Kinda like lowball poker.
