poor defense, poor rebounding and can't hit free throws. Half the time it just looks like we are just going through the motions.
And now it becomes clear why we are only a 3 point favorite...

Detroit is playing well with multiple defenses. Their trap seems to give us trouble so I look for Stans to fix that for the 2nd half. Hood needs to get more mid range jumpers. Moultrie is struggling a little bit but thats to be expected. Sidney is having a good game for Sidney. I saw a couple of hustle plays out there and 3 dunks with "two hands".
Free Throws should be better but I do see Bost working hard to break their defensive looks. Not just going through the motions.

Yeah. Totally absurd to say we're "going through the motions." Every team is dangerous because every team has good athletes. Detroit is very well coached and we would not be on top and we can not win by "going through the motions." Basketball is a very tough game.
They beat St Johns at home and played with Bama until about halfway through the second half at Bama. They aren't bad and play good defense.
in the first half. That is the only reason they were in the game at halftime. We seem to be playing much more intense defense to open up the second half.
