What are you going to do next basketball season when there will be no need for 10 fire stans topics a day?

would be in the tourney even last night. I have been saying for at least a week that we had to win two games in the SEC tourney in order to get in and it looks like I was right. I anxious to see when Stans will make his "announcement."

(not me, bc I could not care less) every single time our new coach (if we get one) loses a game. Heaven forbid our next coach be a bust and we end up in the tank for 10 years, You and I know it would not mean you had **** to do with it, but everyone that dislikes you will make sure you know how ****** our coach is doing if we take a nose dive. Oh well though, I hope we get rid of him and it turns out to be the best thing that ever happened to our program since..........well, Stansbury.

I also predicted that we wouldn't make the tourney and that we would have to win two games to get in. And based on the committee's selection (s), we weren't even close to getting in the field.

"we wouldn't make the tourney <span style="font-weight: bold;">and </span>that we would have to win two games to get in"

The article "and" means that both of those statements have to be true for the statement to be true. The second part of that statement did not happen, so therefore your entire statement is not an accurate prediction. Your prediction is invalid. You can't accurately claim that your prediction was correct, unless you are trying to say that you simply predicted that we would not make the tournament, in which case, so did most people.

"based on the committee's selection (s), we weren't even close to getting in the field."

The committee's selection (s) prove absolutely nothing as to how close we were to get in.

but the committee'sdecision (s)tells me a lot about what they thought of our end of the season collapse. I will concede that my statement about having to win two games cannot be proven but the committee'sselection(s) are all we have to go on at this point. So, one can make aneducatedguess that my prediction had a higher percentage of being correct than being wrong. Hence, Iclaimthat my predictions were correct....

Now it being about the head coach's position ... well, believe what you want

If Stansbury is back- it means they pussed out since Friday afternoon and agreed to letting him throw the assistants under the bus to get one more season

And that will be a huge mistake for us

Rick is what he is at this point. He isn't going to all of the sudden yield to what the assistants say on a regular basis. Besides, what kind of quality assistants are going to sign up for a one year gig where it's do-or-die after losing your two most talented players and possibly a couple other starters?<div>
</div><div>It's just time to move on.</div>

Noone worth a damn will take the gig and we will start the bus down the road to Auburn status in the SEC.

After telling us Friday, it was a done deal

As expected, you just throw it out there, hoping to make it happen

I don't think Stricklin nor Keenum has the ball to FIRE Stans

I expect him hack with two new assistants.

You did not have to be Nostradamus to see we were not getting in. Hell there we're no more than 4 or 5 posters on here that thought we were in. That was like me predicting we won't win the SEC in football next year.

I stated after the SC game that we would have to win two games in the SEC tourney to make it in the field. Now, it is almostcertainthat this was the case.
