The NCAA has no jurisdiction over this board or the people who post here. There is no governing body that is going to investigate the people that post here, at least nobody that anyone here could be compelled to cooperate with.
So I can say... that after all this time, it was me, yes, me, that was the bagman for Cecil Newton'spayoff and it would not make any difference.
I could come on here and talk proudly about how I paid Eric Moulds, Fred Smoot, and Anthony Dixon$75,000 and a trip to Platinum Plus apiece to "mow my lawn"while they were inhigh school so they would keeptheir commitment to Mississippi State and it would not make one damn lick of difference because:
1. An internet fan site forum is hardly the concrete evidence the NCAA would need to commit to spend the money to investigate said lawn mowing incidents.
2. I'm an anonymous poster and there's no solid proof, at least that the NCAA would be willing to expend the resources to obtain, that provesthat I really am the owner of said lawn and/or lawn(s).
3. Even if my true identity were discovered, I have no reason to comply with the NCAA investigation. They could sue me to compel me to cooperate. I could sue them for invasion of privacy and harassment, and frankly, if I'm a booster, I can afford to.
4. I made all of that up, which is what would end up coming out in the investigation. The NCAA knows that 99% of these message board rumors are speculation, innuendo, and hearsay. They barely take the time and effort to investigate legitimate leads, much less a bunch of goobers on a fan site.
That being said... I am REALLY not getting my money's worth this year.**
Some folks need to startgetting the ball into the endzone orthey will find themselves walking to class.**
