I believe Bianco was trying anything and everything that he thought would work to get over the hump. I don't see Bianco letting his team dance around like that in years past. Cohen would have them doing grass drills in left field during the ESPN broadcast. The only thing missing in those gesticulations (in the words of Mr. Cristil) was the hand grabbing the throat.
I know a lot of Virginians through my job. We talk about schools and sport a lot. Most of them are VT fans. One thing I have found is that the VT and Virginia rivalry is as heated as State and Ole Miss. What is also amazing is the fact that Virginia fan are a lot like Ole Miss fan, you know the arrogant, I think I am better then attitude and the VT fans are just good ole boys like us.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </span> There is a lot of similarities in the rivalry.</p>

There is a huge difference between the UVA/VT and MSU/OM dynamics. UVA is a premier, public institution that has every right to think itself as "better" than VT in that regard. Ole Miss, on the other hand, is not but likes to think it is. Virginia and Virgina Tech have the same relationship as Michigan and Michigan State. Ole Miss fans simply cannot accept the fact they aren't Michigan, UVA, Cal Berkeley or any of the other public Ivys. The fact of the matter is that Mississippi State's freshman classes constantly have the higher test scores.
That's the rub with me. The Ole Miss fans that look down their noses at us have no basis for doing so. And before you Rebel posters decide to take me task, I understand that not all of you are that extreme...at least I don't think you are.

you could send a link of that video to the father of every girl in it. Can't you just see the pride and satisfaction beaming from their faces when they realized that all the money spent at whatever dance academy wasn't wasted.
and just behind the Ivy League schools in overall stature. Not many public schools compare well with Virginia. VT......not so much.
